Youngblood: New World MIXX
“Payback is sweet when you can do what you love.”

Benefiting New World School of the Arts High School, Youngblood: New World MIXX is an exhibition of twenty NWSA alumni emerging into the Miami art scene. Their works will line the walls of the ArtSeen gallery as a fundraiser; proceeds will go towards the New World School of the Arts High School Art Department (NWSA).

This show is curated by alumnae Michelle Gomez (2008) and Patty Suau (2003). Their commitment to the school is an example of how collaboration with one’s peers can “Pay back” what NWSA gives students and all other graduates. A New World School of the Arts education is a “fast pass” into the art world; we want to contribute to the future of New World’s young artists.

This year’s Young Blood exhibition, entitled New World MIXX features a blend of alumni of all ages and establishment levels. Young Blood: MIXX features a blend of alumni of all ages and establishment levels, blurring the boundary between emerging and experienced artists and bringing together a group of many talented artists who connect and will always be a part of the New World family.
